Mary Jenkins

Mary was born on Saturday, 8 April 1786 in Nantucket, Nantucket County, Massachusetts. Mary married Willet Seaman, son of Willet Seaman and Mary Searing, on 7 November 1808 in Nantucket.1 Willet & Mary had children: Gulielma Matilda [7/1809- ], Frederick Augustus [4/07/1811 NYC-11/30/1888 Madison, NJ][m. Jane Bowles], Henry Jenkins [7/13/1813-], Avis Leggett [10/04/1816 NYC-3/31/1899 Mt. Vernon, NY][m. 7/01/1845 Robert Morgan Masterson]. William Valentine [8/05/1818-1/24/1852], Willet [7/10/1820- ] & Mary J. [3/30/1827-10/22/1829].2 Mary's husband, Willet, died on 10 April 1864 in New York City, New York County, New York, leaving her a widow. Mary departed this life on Wednesday, 14 July 1880 in Bronxville, Westchester County, New York, at age 94 years, 3 months and 6 days.3
