Maria Salome Korffman

     Maria Salome was born on Sunday, 29 April 1742 in Stein-Bockenheim, Rheinhessen, Germany. She was the daughter of Johann Conrad Korffman and Anna Margaretha Scheffer. In 1764,Maria Solome immigrated with her parents on the ship "Prince of Wales" arriving in Philadelphia. The family settled in York County, Pennsylvania.. Maria Salome married Captain George Geiselman in 1767 at York County. George and Marie Solome had children: Johann Adam [8/28/1768], Maria Charlotta [5/19/1771-1805], Maria Margaretha [1772], Maria Eva [9/2/1776] & Barbara Spechert [12/31/1777-1/21/1857].² Maria departed this life in February 1778 in Shrewsbury Township at age 35 years and 9 months.
