Margaret Jackson

     Margaret was born on Sunday, 20 June 1649 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Deacon John Jackson and Margaret (?) Margaret married Deacon James Trowbridge on 30 January 1674 in Cambridge. James & Margaret had children: Experience [11/01/1675][m. Samuel Wilson], Thomas [12/09/1677], Deliverance [12/31/1679][m. Eleazar Ward], James [9/30/1682], William [11/19/1684], Abigail [4/11/1687] & Caleb [11/07/1692]. Margaret departed this life on Tuesday, 16 September 1727 in Cambridge at age 78 years, 2 months and 27 days. She was buried there. The inscription on her tombstone reads: Here lyes the body of Mrs Margaret Trowbridge relict of Deacon James Trowbridge who deceased September ye 16th 1727.
