Marie Catherine Jobin

Marie Catherine was born circa 1667 in St-Germain, Paris, Ile-de-France, France.1 She was the daughter of Charles Jobin and Marie Madeleine Girard. Marie Catherine married Michel Lemay on 22 April 1686 in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada, at the church of La Visitation.2 Michel and Catherine had children: Michel [11/04/1689-][m. 1/08/1720 Marie Genevieve Marotte dit Labonte], Joseph [1691-][m. 11/04/1713 Marie Angelique Grenier], Marie Catherine [1694-4/03/1767][m. 11/18/1714 Jean Baptiste Gauthier], Louis [1696-10/02/1760][m. 5/26/1732 Elisabeth Isabelle Thiffault], Jean Baptiste [1698-][m. 11/26/1731 Marie Genevieve Rivard LaGlanderie], Marie Agnes [1701][m. 11/21/1729 Louis Houde Gervais] & Antoine [1/191703-7/03/1766][m. 2/14/1735 Marie Angelique Dubord Lafontaine].3 Marie departed this life on Sunday, 17 July 1712 in Quebec.
