Susannah Inman1

Susannah was born circa 1705 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of Edward Inman III and Mary Malavery. Susannah married James Walling II, son of James Walling and Elizabeth Sprague, circa 1720 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. She and Susannah were blessed with 7 children. He signed a petition to the Rhode Island Legislature in June 1728. James & Susannah's daughter Mary was scalped by the Indians.2 James & Susannah came to Beekman by 1740 when they sold their land in Glocester.3 Susannah's husband, James, died after 1740, leaving her a widow. Susannah married Mr. (?) Bills after 1756. Susannah departed this life after 1779 in Minisink Town, Orange County, New York.
