Lent Hotchkiss

     Lent was born on Sunday, 2 June 1726 in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut.¹ He was the son of Josiah Hotchkiss and Abigail Parker. On 8 January 1726/27, he was christened in New Haven County, Connecticut. Lent married Abigail Chauncy on 20 December 1750 in Wallingford. Lent and Abigail had children: Ruth [10/29/1751] [m. 12/20/1775 William Perkins], Abigail [9/02/1753], Lent [9/02/1753-12/02/1805] [m. 9/21/1788 Sarah Ball] & Martha [8/02/1757-5/21/1821] [m. 6/15/1775 Simon Nichols]. Lent departed this life on Tuesday, 8 April 1760 at age 33 years, 10 months and 6 days. He may have died 7 April 1759.
