Joshua Hotchkiss

     Joshua was born on Saturday, 16 September 1651 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. He was the son of Samuel Hotchkiss and Elizabeth Cleverly. Joshua married Mary Pardee on 29 November 1677 in New Haven.¹ Joshua & Mary had children: Mary, Stephen & Martha. Joshua's wife, Mary, died in 1684 in New Haven leaving him a widower. Joshua married 2nd Hannah Tuthill in 1685 in New Haven.¹ Joshua & Hannah had children: Hannah, Priscilla, Abraham, Abigail, Mary, Desire, Isaac & Jacob. Joshua's wife, Hannah, died on 17 February 1718/19 in New Haven leaving him a widower. Joshua married 3rd Mary Sanford after 17 February 1719. Joshua made his will on 7 April 1722 at New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. Joshua departed this life in New Haven. His will was probated on 1 October 1722.
