     Dorothy was born circa 1680 in Mattituck in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Richard Howell I and Miss _____. Dorothy married John Reeves between 1698 and 24 August 1709 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Dorothy's husband, John, died on 10 August 1727 in New York, leaving her a widow. Dorothy departed this life on Saturday, 23 September 1752 in New York.
