Caleb Hopkins

Caleb was born in January 1650/51 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Giles Hopkins and Catherine Whelden, and grandson of Stephen Hopkins. Caleb married Mary Williams, daughter of Thomas Williams and Elizabeth Tart, in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Caleb & Mary had children: Caleb, Nathaniel, Thomas & Thankful. Caleb's wife, Mary, died after 1692 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower. Caleb died not long before intestate before 22 May 1728 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. On this date, his son, Caleb was appointed administrator of his estate.1
