Hannah Hawley

     Hannah was born on Saturday, 26 May 1657 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Lieut. Joseph Hawley and Katherine Birdseye. Hannah married Josiah Nichols on 13 December 1678 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, at the Old Congregational Church.¹ Hannah's husband, Josiah, died on 11 April 1691 in Stratford leaving her a widow. Hannah married 2nd John Wolcott on 22 June 1692 in Connecticut.¹ Hannah's husband, John, died in Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Hannah married 3rd Henry Porter on 11 April 1727.
