Enumerated in this household were Louis Pinard [30 years], his wife: Marie-Madeleine Hertel [20 years], Francoise [2 years] and Jean Barreau Xaintonge [20 years].⁴ 1667, Marie-Madeleine and her husband, Louis, were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte de Champlain, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Louis Pinard [34 years], his wife: Marie-Madeleine [21 years], child [3 years] and Jacques Dubois [17 years].⁵ Marie-Madeleine departed this life circa 1680 in Champlain.
