     She was first married on 20 August 1668 to John Savil at Braintree. She then married 2nd. on 22 January 1688 to Thomas Metcalf also in Braintree. Mehitable was born on Monday, 21 October 1652 in Boston in the Massachuetts Bay Colony. Mehitable married 3rd Josiah Chapin, son of Deacon Samuel Chapin and Cecily Penny, on 22 June 1713 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.1 Mehitable departed this life on Saturday, 2 December 1724 in Mendon, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at age 72 years, 1 month and 11 days.
