Thomas Gostling

M, b. before 2 March 1588, d. before 25 November 1661
     Thomas was born in Groton, County Suffolk, England. He was the son of Philip Gostling & Alice.1 He was christened there on 2 March 1588 in St. Bartholomew Church.1 Thomas married Jane Winthrop, daughter of Adam Winthrop III and Anne Browne, on 5 January 1612 in Groton at St. Bartholomew Church. Thomas & Jane had children: John [d. ca 1649], Willis [d. between 1644-1649], Mary [d. between 1644-1649], Wolfe [d. between 1644-1649], Anne [m. William Willis], Margaret [m. Mr. Heathcote], Benjamin [chr. 5/09/1615],
Alice [chr. 4/10/1636], and four others.2 He was a clothier in County Suffolk.3 Thomas departed this life before 25 November 1661 in County Suffolk.4
