Joseph Grenette

M, b. 25 September 1712, d. circa 27 May 1770
     Joseph was born on Sunday, 25 September 1712 in Lauzon, Levis County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened on the same day there in St-Joseph Church.1 He was the son of Jean-Francois Grenette and Jeanne Samson. Joseph married Marie-Madeleine Genon on 26 April 1754 in Louiseville, Quebec, Canada, at St-Antoine-de-Padau, Riviere-du-Loup Church.2 Joseph & Madeleine had children: Marie-Joseph [9/01/1754], Marie Joseph [3/08/1755-3/21/1770] & Brigitte [4/09/1757-12/10/1831][m. 2/27/1772 Joseph Guay].3 Joseph's wife, Marie-Madeleine, died circa 26 April 1757 in Louiseville, leaving him a widower. Joseph departed this life in Louiseville. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Antoine-de-Padau, Riviere-du-Loup on Sunday, 27 May 1770.4
