Louise Goulet

F, b. circa 26 August 1628
     Louise was born in La Poterie-au-Perche, Orne, Normandy, France. She was christened there on 26 August 1628 in St-Pierre Church.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Goulet and Marie Chalumel. Louise married Rene Letartre on 9 August 1649 in Normandel at St-Firmin Church.2 In 1668, Louise and her husband Rene immigrated on the ship Rene, Louise and thier family immigrated to Quebec where they are first noted on record in 1668. 1681, Louise and her husband, Rene, were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte de Montmorency, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Rene Letartre [55 years], Louise Goullet [55 years], Barbe [17 years] & a domestic, Nicolas Bernard [17 years].3
