Elizabeth Fox

     Elizabeth was born in Barford, Oxfordshire, England. She was the daughter of William Fox, Gentleman and Joan (?) Elizabeth married John Bustard. She and John were blessed with 17 children, only a few of whom are known. [order of birth not known]. She was buried in Oxfordshire, England, in the Adderbury Church. In the chapel, on the south side of the church, on a great stone monument is the following inscription: "Near onto this tombe lyeth buried the bodyes of John Bustard, Esq. & Elizabeth, his wife & Jane Bustard, wife of Anthony Bustard, son & heir to ye said John; which John had by the said Elizabeth XVII children, and the said Anthony by the said Jane XI children. And the said John dyed an. dom. 1634, the said Elizab. an. 1517, & ye said Jane an. 1568."¹ Elizabeth departed this life in 1517 in Adderbury, Oxfordshire, England.
