Elvin Ferris

     Elvin was born circa 1763 in Throgs Neck, Westchester County, New York. He was the son of John Ferris and Marianna Hunt. Elvin married Anna Muckleworth circa 1787. Elvin & Anna had children: John M. [1788-1858][m. Elizabeth Powell], George P [m. Mary Perkins]., John Thomas [m. Adaline Morse], Valentine Seaman [-1861][m. Almira J. Miller] & Ester Amelia [1838][m. 1856 Eugene Hyatt]. Elvin was noted as "deceased" in his father's will. He therefore died on 2 December 1812.
