Maud fitz Thomas

Maud was born circa 1269 in County Suffolk, England. She was the daughter of Thomas fitz Otes and Beatrice de Beauchamp. Maud married John Botetourt, son of Guy Botetourt and Ada (?), before 1282 in England. Maud brought to this marriage the rites to Mendlesham, county Suffolk. In 1295, she was the heiress of her brother, Otes. Maud's husband, John, died on 24 November 1324 in County Norfolk, England, leaving her a widow. In 1327, she filed a suit against Robert Botetourt regarding land in Suffolk.1
