Martha Fiske1

Martha was born circa 1612 in the parish of St. James, South Elham, County Suffolk, England. She was the daughter of John Fiske and Anne Lawter. Martha married Captain Edmund Thompson circa 1636 in England. Edmund & Martha had children: Martha, Edmund, Thomas [chr. 2/12/1643] & Hannah [chr. 7/04/1647]. After 1647, they returned to England, settling at Yarmouth, having more children: John, Ester & John - all dying in infancy.

After 4 July 1647, when their daughter Hannah was baptized, they returned to England and lived at Yarmouth, where they had three more children who died in infancy.
