Elizabeth Fisher

Elizabeth was born circa 1596 in London, County Middlesex, England. Elizabeth married Stephen Hopkins on 19 February 1617/18 in Greater London, County Middlesex, England, at St. Mary Matfellon, Whitechapel. Elizabeth's husband, an unknown person , died before 17 July 1644 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, leaving her a widow. On 10 October 1657, she sold a parcel of land at the Jones River to Jacob Cooke.1 Elizabeth departed this life in Plymouth. After 10 October 1657 & before 6 October 1659 when her property was appraised "in case Elizabeth Hopkins do come no more" It is not known when she died. She had disappeared & could not be found. She was presumed dead by her family.2 The inventory of Elizabeth's estate was taken on Monday, 6 October 1659. Her estate was valued at 26 pounds, 14 shillings. It was taken by Andrew Ring & Jacob Dooke.3
