Marianna Ferris

     Marianna was born circa 1761 in Throgs Neck, Westchester County, New York, at "Grove Farm". She was the daughter of John Ferris and Marianna Hunt. Marianna married Benjamin Pell on 25 November 1778 in Westchester.¹ Benjamin & Marianna had children: William Ferris [9/--/1779-10/28/1840][m. 11/11/1802 Mary Shipley], Maria [m. Jacob Trewell Walden], Alfred Sands [5/01/1786-4/20/1831][m. Adelia Duane], Gilbert [4/15/1788][m. Eliza Birkbeck] & Ferris [10/15/1790-1850][m. 11/06/1827 Mariana Channing]. Marianna departed this life before the 25th day of the second month 1795 in New York.
