Edmund Dudley

M, d. 17 August 1510
     Edmund was born. He was the son of Sir John Dudley of Atherington, West Sussex. Edmund married Ann Windsor, daughter of Lord Thomas Windsor and Elizabeth Andrews, circa 1494.1 He was Speaker of the House of Commons. He also served as administrator and a financial agent of King Henry VII. Edmund was executed on Wednesday, 17 August 1510 in London, County Middlesex, England, at the Tower Hilll by King Henry VIII. He was buried there in London in Blackfrairs.

Additional Notes: He was the grandfather of Robert Dudley, 1st Earl of Leicester, a favourite of Henry VIII's daughter, Elizabeth I.
