Samuel Drake1

M, b. 1699, d. 1774
     Samuel was born in 1699 in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York. He was the son of Joseph Drake and Sarah Shute. Samuel married Mary Fowler, daughter of Henry Fowler IV and Abigail Hoyt. Samuel and Mary had a son, Gilbert [1723-1803]. The family resided at Fox Meadows, Scarsdale, Westchester Co., New York.2 On 10 dec 1757, he married second, Elizabeth Underhill.3 Samuel's wife, Mary, died before 10 December 1757 in Fox meadows, Scarsdale, Westchester County, New York, leaving him a widower. Samuel departed this life in 1774 in Fox Meadows, Scarsdale, Westchester County, New York.
