Elisabeth Jans Eckerszen

     Elisabeth Jans was born before 29 May 1678. On 29 May 1678, she was christened at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church in the City, County & State of New York. The witnesses were Albertus Ringo, Styntie Jans.¹ She was the daughter of Jan Thomaszen Eckerszen and Apolonia Cornelissen Swits. Elisabeth Jans married Dirck Gysbertszen Uyt ten Bogaert, son of Gysbert Elbertszen Uyt ten Bogaert and Willemtje Claesje (?), on 24 June 1698 at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church in the City, County & State of New York.² Elisabeth Jans married 2nd Roelof Potter on 23 May 1713 at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church in the City, County & State of New York. Raef was first married to V. Ierlant.³
