Persis Dunham

     Persis was born in 1635 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of John Dunham and Abigail Barlow. Persis married Benajah Pratt on 29 November 1655 in Plymouth.1 Persis's husband, Benajah, died on 17 March 1681/82 in Plymouth leaving her a widow. Persis married 2nd Jonathan Shaw in August 1683 in Plymouth. Persis's husband, Jonathan, died before 30 July 1701 in Plymouth leaving her a widow.
