John Danvers

John was born circa 1295 in Oxfordshire, England, at the Manor of Little Bourten. He was the son of Simon Danvers and Alice (?) John married Isabel de La Lee, daughter of William de La Lee, circa 1321 in Oxfordshire, England. They were married in the reign of Edward III but the date could not be read. He was given the land & tenets of Ipswell in Oxfordshire and the village & field of Napton in Warwichshire at the time of his marriage to Isabel by his father.1 In 1347, John appears in the Subsidy Rolls of Thame. He was of Ipswell. John departed this life in Oxfordshire, England, at the Manor of Ipswell.
