John Corfman

M, b. circa 1787, d. 5 October 1821
     John was born circa 1787 in Shrewsbury Township, York County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johann Jakob Korffman and Susannah (?) Little is known of him, but he is described as a srong and weel built man who was known for his bravery. He loved to hunt and would go on trips for days at a time. Nothing is known of his wife or children. John departed this life on Friday, 5 October 1821 in Pleasant Township, Fairfield County, Ohio.1
