Jacob Corfman II1

Jacob was born in 1776 in Shrewsbury Township, York County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johann Jakob Korffman and Susannah (?) Jacob married Magdalena Bibler, daughter of Jacob Bibler I and Katharina Hite, on 1 March 1802 in Pleasant Township, Fairfield County, Ohio. The 1820 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Pleasant Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, the family of Jacob Corfman [211101:3101].2 Jacob departed this life on Friday, 5 October 1821 in Pleasant Township at age 45 years. He was buried there in Beery-Bibler Cemetery. He was buried near his father-in-law, Jacob Bibler. His tombstone reads: Jacob Corfman died October 5, 1821 aged 45y. The cemetery was also refered to as the Old Family Cemetery.
