Abigail Coe1

     Abigail was born on Saturday, 11 November 1702 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Captain John Coe and Mary Hawley. Abigail married John Guthrie on 1 June 1727 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. John & Abigail had children: John, James, William, James, Joseph, Mary, Ephraim, Ebenezer, Abigail, Sarah & Lydia. In 1735, they moved from Stratford to Durham. In 1743, they moved to Southbury. Abigail departed this life in March 1747 in Southbury, New Haven County, Connecticut, at age 44 years and 3 months.
