Peletiah Clark

     Peletiah was born on Monday, 5 March 1714 in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut. He was the son of William & Mary [Day] Clark. Peletiah married Anna Sutliffe, daughter of Sgt. Nathaniel Sutliffe and Sarah Savage, on 26 June 1735 in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut. The family resided in Haddam. Peletiah & Anna had children: Rubin [11/20/1735] & Hannah [6/17/1737]. Peletiah's wife, Anna, died on 16 March 1739 in Haddam leaving him a widower. He married second on 4 December 1740, Elizabeth Sleed in Haddam. They had children: Thankful [1740-3/13/1835], Aaron [3/17/1742], Daniel [6/94/1745-9/11/1749], Stephen [11/11/1746], Ester [1/02/1749]. Peletiah departed this life before 18 September 1754 in Haddam. The inventory of Peletiah's estate was taken on Wednesday, 18 September 1754. It was valued at £2860 6 shillings.
