Mary Burt
F, b. before 13 April 1635, d. 30 August 1689
Mary was born in Harberton, Devonshire, England. She was christened there on 13 April 1635 in St. Andrew's Church. She was the daughter of Henry Burt and Eulalia March. Mary married William Brooks on 18 October 1654 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.1 William and Mary had 8 sons and 8 daughters: Remebrance [m. 1/17/1674 James Brown], Willaim [8/18/1655-10/27/1675], John [2/101657-10/27/1675], Sarah [5/04/1658] [m. 7/11/1678 Jonathan Taylor Jr.], Patience [6/05/1661], Ebenezer [12/21/1662] [m. Elizabeth Belden], Nathaniel [5/09/1664], Abigail [1/25/1665] [m. 12/10/1685 Samuel Stebbins], Joseph [10/07/16678-1743] [m. 12/29/1698 Lydia Warner], Mercy [8/25/1669-1701] [m. 1690 Samuel Carter], Benjamin [7/25/1671], Deliverance [2/28/1672] [m. 12/04/1708 Mary], Thankful [2/28/1672-d.y.], Jonathan [10/13/1674], Mary [7/11//1677] & Thankful [9/19/1679] [m. 1699 Josiah Church]. Mary's husband, William, died on 30 October 1688 in Springfield leaving her a widow.1 Mary departed this life on Tuesday, 30 August 1689 in Springfield.
