Therese Caillas

F, b. 4 January 1700, d. 6 December 1762
     Therese was born on Monday, 4 January 1700 in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. She was christened there on 5 January 1700 in the church of La Visitation.1 She was the daughter of Pierre Caillas and Marie-Therese Aure. Therese married Antoine Rivard dit Lanouette, son of Pierre Rivard dit Lanouette and Catherine Trottier, on 30 April 1736 in Champlain at the church of La Visitation.2 Antoine & Therese had children: Joseph-Antoine [3/19/1737-4/06/1737], Antoine [4/01/17386/24/1797-][m. 11/22/1762 Marie-Joseph Rivard], Joseph [11/17/1739-4/15/1803][m. 10/27/1765 Marie Charlotte Bergeron] & Francois [8/04/17435/23/1813][m. 10/14/1765 Genevieve Francoise Lefebvre].3 Therese's husband, Antoine, died on 1 December 1762 in Batiscan leaving her a widow. Therese departed this life on Monday, 6 December 1762 in Batiscan at age 62 years, 11 months and 2 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Francois Xavier on Tuesday, 7 December 1762.4
