Matilda Bruce

She was often referred to as Maud. Matilda was born circa 1290 in Carrick, Ayrshire, Scotland, at Turnberry Castle. She was the daughter of Robert de Bruce VII Earl of Carrick and Countess Marjorie of Carrick. Matilda married Earl Hugh of Ross.
