Ada Botetourt

F, d. May 1349
     Ada was born in County Norfolk, England. She was the daughter of John Botetourt and Maud fitz Thomas. Ada married John de Saint Philibert before 1322. Ada's parents settled the manor of Chignal Smealey, Essex unto the couple and to his heirs. Ada's husband, John, died before 22 February 1333 in Gascony, France, leaving her a widow.1 Ada married 2nd Richard Fitz Simons in 1335. Ada departed this life shortly before Whitsunday 1349.2
