Robert Blake

     Robert was born in Over Stowey, Somersetshire, England. He was christened there on 22 May 1566 in St. Peter & St. Paul Church. He was the son of John Blake "the Elder" and Joan (?) Robert married Eleanor (?) circa 1589. Robert and Eleanor had children all baptized at Over Stowey: Robert [3/11/1590-12/02/1603], John [6/02/1692-2/29/1613], William [6/05/1594-4/101617] [m. 1/22/1616 Joan Chilicott], Alice [9/12/1596] [m. 7/03/1615 John Chapling], Humphrey [10/21/1598-3/24/1601], Hugh [2/22/1601] & Robert [3/02/1606]. Robert departed this life in Over Stowey. He was buried there in St. Peter & St. Paul Churchyard on Sunday, 25 January 1626.
