Mary was born on Saturday, 23 September 1651 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.3 She was the daughter of Nathaniel Bliss and Katherine Chapin. Mary married Nathaniel Holcomb, son of Thomas Holcomb and Eliabeth (?), on 27 February 1671 in Simsbury, Hartford County, Connecticut.4
