Sarah Wright

     Sarah was born. She was the daughter of Edmund Wright. Sarah married John Townsend, son of "Mill" John Townsend and Ester Smith, in 1738. Sarah departed this life on Saturday, 22 April 1780 in Oyster Bay Town at Edmund Wright's homestead. She was buried there in the Baptist Church Graveyard. Which was southeast of the church. Their stones were brought from England by their son Ephraim.
