Margaret Windsor

     Margaret was born circa 1480 in Stanwell, County Middlesex, England, at Manor of Stanwell. She was not mentioned in her father's will of 1479. She was the daughter of Lord Thomas Windsor and Elizabeth Andrews. She was a nun at Syon Abbey. It was a dual monastery of men and women of the Bridgettine Order, although it only ever had abbesses during its existence. It was located on the northern bank of the River Thames in County Middlesex. Her brother Andrew, mentions her in his will dated 26 March 1543. "Margaret Windsor, late Prioress of the late monastery of Sion, an annuity of lxxx /. vis. VIII d."
