John Willett

     John was born on Wednesday, 21 August 1641 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. . He was the son of Honorable Thomas Willett and Mary Browne. John married Abigail Collins in 1663 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. John & Abigail may have had one child born after John's death. John made his will on 2 February 1664 at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. This was a nuncupative will. John provided for a posthumus child, named his father and father-in-law as overseers, made provisions for his 3 brothers at Cambridge School, and also made provisions for his wife's brothers, Samuel and Edward. John departed this life on Saturday, 2 February 1664 in Cambridge at age 22 years, 5 months and 12 days.
