James Whitney1

     James was born on Thursday, 6 December 1725 in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of Henry Whitney and Elizabeth Olmsted. James married Lydia (?) in Ridgefield. James and Lydia had children: James, Thomas, Ezekiel & Mary. James departed this life before 5 September 1757 in Ridgefield. On this day, Lydia was appointed administrator of his estate.
