Anne Whitney1

F, b. 1691, d. 9 May 1773
     Anne was born in 1691 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of John Whitney and Elizabeth Smith. Anne married Matthew St. John on 13 October 1709 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut.2 Anne's husband, Matthew, died on 3 August 1755 in Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Anne departed this life on Sunday, 9 May 1773 in Sharon at age 82 years.
