John Wright1

     John was born circa 1703 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of Gideon Wright II and Margaret Urquhart. John married Ruth Ludlam, daughter of Joseph Ludlam I and Elizabeth Townsend. John's wife, Ruth, died before 1729 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York, leaving him a widower. John departed this life in 1750 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
