     Elizabeth was born in 1653 in Sandwich, Cape Cod, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Peter Wright and Alice Wright. Elizabeth married James Townsend, son of John Townsend I and Elizabeth Montgomerie, in 1671 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Elizabeth departed this life before October 1677 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
