James Waklee
M, b. 1652
James was born in 1652 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of Henry Waklee and Sarah Burt. James married Hannah Peat on 6 December 1667 in Stratford.1 James and Hannah had children: James [12/28/1688-1762] [m. Sarah Shelden], Henry [5/15/1691] & Joseph [-1729] [m. 4/24/1723 Elizabeth Clark].2 James's wife, Hannah, died before 26 February 1702 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower.2 James married 2nd Hannah Griffin on 26 February 1702 in Stratford.3 James and Hannah had children: Dinah [m. 11/26/1729 John Squire], Abigail & Hannah [m. 5/30/1728 Nehemiah Allen]. On 3 February 1728/29, James a resident of Stratford, now of Guilford, conveyed land to his son-in-law Nehemiah Allen.2

It is obvious that she was not old enough to be the mother of the colder children [of Jacob]. She was a wife if a Wakelee in 1694 and could have been the second wife of Jacob or the first wife of James Wakelee.
