Hannah Williams

     Hannah was born circa 1649 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Thomas Williams and Elizabeth Tart. Hannah married John Smyth, son of Ralph Smyth and Elizabeth Hobart, on 24 May 1667 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Hannah's husband, John, died before 26 February 1678 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, leaving her a widow. At a court held on 8 March 1678/9 "in reference unto the personall estate of John Smith, late of Eastham, deceased, the estate being smale, and diverse children to be brought up, this Court have settled the estate wholly upon the widdow, for the bringing up of the children, unless extream nessesitie put her on the sale of it, for the bring up of the said children."1 Hannah married 2nd Thomas Mulford after 8 March 1678 in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He was first married to Elizabeth Barns.2 Hannah's husband, Thomas, died after 12 June 1706 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, leaving her a widow.3 Hannah departed this life on Thursday, 10 February 1717/18 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.4 Letters of Administration were granted for her estate on 25 February 1717/18 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
