Samuel Whitney1

M, b. 1694, d. 6 December 1753
     Samuel was born in 1694 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of John Whitney and Elizabeth Smith. Samuel married Anne Laboree on 18 January 1721/22 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. After 18 January 1721/1722, the family resided in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Samuel departed this life on Thursday, 6 December 1753 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was buried in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, in the Old Congregational Church. His tombstone reads "in the 60th year of his age."
