Nathan Whitney

     Nathan was born circa 1696 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of John Whitney and Elizabeth Smith. Nathan married Sarah (?) circa 1715 in Connecticut. 5 February 1718/1719, the family resided in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He settled on a piece of land given to him on the 8 February 1718/1719 by his brothers [& brother-in-laws]: Joseph Keeler, Henry Whitney, & Matthew St. John. He was made freeman 9 December 1728. Nathan departed this life after 1739 in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. It was known that they were living in Ridgefield as late at 1739. No date of death has been found for them.
