Benjamin Whitney1

     Benjamin was born on Monday, 1 June 1750 in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of Daniel Whitney and Thankful Burt. Benjamin married Sarah Ketcham in Orange County, New York. The family first resided at Warwick, Orange County, New York. After 1783, Benjamin & his family resided at Shelby, Orleans County, New York. Benjamin departed this life circa 1826 in Shelby, Orleans County, New York.
