Anna White

F, b. circa 13 July 1600, d. 1647
     Anna was born circa 13 July 1600 in Messing, County Essex, England. She is the daughter of Robert White and Bridget Alger. On 13 July 1600, she was christened in Messing, County Essex, England, at All Saints Church.1 She was the daughter of Robert White and Bridgit Algar. Anna married John Porter, son of John Porter and Sibyl Vessey, on 18 October 1620 in Messing, County Essex, England, at All Saints Church.2 Between 4 November 1638 and 11 April 1639, Anna and her husband, John, immigrated from Messing, County Essex, England, to New England. The date of his youngest child's baptism in England and the first date he is recorded in Connecticut.3 In Windsor, the Porter family was living adjacent to Joseph Loomis' family. The two wives, sisters, were to live here for the remainder of there lives.4 Anna departed this life in 1647 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.2
