Jan Dirckszen Uyt ten Bogaert

Jan was born in New York City, New York County, New York. He was christened there on 23 April 1704 in the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church. The witnesses were Cornelius Ekkeson & Ariaentie Ekkeson.1 He was the son of Dirck Gysbertszen Uyt ten Bogaert and Elisabeth Jans Eckerszen. Jan married Margrieta Paulding, daughter of Joost Paulding and Catharina Hans Duyts, on 13 November 1726 in New York City at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church.2 Jan & Margrieta had children: Dirk [chr 8/13/1727], Joost [chr 10/09/1729], Gysbert, Catharina, Jan & Abraham [chr 5/19/174].3
